banyu is a javanese language for "water".

at first i just wanna draw an aqua spirit with manual watercolor,but i duno how it end up like this. -____-''
this is a result of drawing-practice with my friend

in his place,since we don't have nothing to do

the scanning image came so badly and miss the soft color detail,so i decided to retouch it again in photoshop,adding some antique and classic effect.
the result is something i didn't expected (always like that btw,-__-" ),but i ilke it.

i dunno where should i put this stuff in chatagory, since i made the original artwork MANUALLY,then i scan and retouch DIGITALLY.
but... since i struggle with manual watercolor at first,then i put it in traditional cat.

bravo! well chosen colors and the composition of the figure is simple, but very beautiful. i think her face looks very detailed and sensual but her body/chest is a bit too stiff and rough, it doesn't match with her delicate face
(that was my humble opinion

)

ai ai ai AI.. *falls on her face* i absolutely HATE watercolor... its my weakest medium. I can never make anything pretty with it. (which is why i fail at open canvas also - a program very similar)
i like that face. its different,like you know its not human. i also like the composition.

i fave.
